Last
Sunday we celebrated Pentecost—the dramatic arrival of the Holy
Spirit—and the “birth” of the Church.
The disciples of Jesus, now fully formed, begin “to tell the Good
News”: Jesus is Risen and among us.
Jesus will continue to speak His Truth: I come that all may have
life and have it more abundantly. Jesus’
Resurrection is for us too!
Today we celebrate Trinity Sunday, the truth that God the Father,
God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are so present in our world, our lives
that the promise made to Adam and Eve is complete—the living God given
in Baptism is the beginning of eternal life.
Our 26 communicants receiving Jesus for the first time yesterday
had a taste of the Joy of Jesus coming to them, staying with them.
