Jesus,
“our Samaritan traveler”, travelling the same way, “from Jericho to
Jerusalem” finds us all beaten and “half dead”.
He lifts us all up and carries us, takes care of us, and involves
others in our care. Jesus
pays the full price of our healing—Crucifixion and Resurrection—on his
way back. Jesus puts it this way, “I come from God and am on the way
to God”. His life says
“And so are you!” that is come from God and on the way to God.
He comes with care, compassion and love. He is involved in the lives of each of us.
He urges us, “Go and do likewise.”
